Occupation: Director, screenwriter, producer, musician.

Alma mater: Western Kentucky University , University of Southern California (dropped)

You know Carpenter because of his horror and sci-fi films like Halloween and The Thing. He dropped out from the University of Southern California to make films. His films later became cult classics and  He is influence to the horror film genre. He made one of the most iconic slasher icons ( Michael Myers ) and horror films of all time, Halloween.

And in case you didn’t like the Halloween version of Rob Zombie and it’s sequel ( I don’t like them) , there’s a new Halloween film coming soon and Carpenter is involve.
