Dunkirk: Review

Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk is the best film of the year.

This non linear war survival picture is one the most intense experience I have ever had in the cinema. Christopher Nolan proves once again he is one of the greatest filmmakers of the 21 century with no doubt.

It’s a pure cinema blockbuster told with images a not so much dialogue. You never see the enemy but your survival instincts are with these soldiers and the sound editing makes you feel you are literally there.

The score is the major key of masterful suspense thanks to Hans Zimmer.

The cinematography by Hoyte Van Hoytema is great, the scope is epic, made with IMAX cameras so you’ll have a full immersive experience in IMAX!

Warning: if you suffer of anxiety or heart problems beware, Dunkirk is pure suspense from beginning to the end with no chill.
